Just removed the seals from my clutch cover (waterpump, shift, kick seals) and noticed they all seem to be oil seals but with metal outer ring/casing. My questions is, do they have to have the metal casings?? Anyone know? cheers

was in the middle of changing the waterpump seal on my 02 650 (early 02) and when comparing what the parts book says against what i have i am confused. i have a seal that is the same o.d. as the waterpump bearing and the id of the bearing inner race between the waterpump seal and the bearing...

My camshaft cover cap worked it self out as far as it can go. When I found it is was backed up to the radiator hose. Is this typical? Can I just clean it, oil it and push it back in? Or is there something else going on here?

Nice cover shot on the July 2008 Australasian Dirt Bike Mag! I think that this is the first time since April 2001 that a Berg has made it to the cover of ADB. not a bad article either, seems like the mags are going to sit up and take notice of this new model. way to go! Azza.
