Has anyone else got issues with their rear brake lever causing excessive wear on the clutch cover. My bike is only 1500klms old but it looks like I need to replace the cover already... and no it hasn't been dropped hard on the side. :?
After looking over the new 2013 Berg (KTM), I noticed they installed a nice rubber cover over the fan switch in the rad covering those two ugly and exposed connectors. It should fit my '09 FE450. Anyone have a part number for this thing?
Thanks

Sorry to trouble you with what I am sure is a simple question.
Recently got a FE 390 (upgraded from a 2006 FE 450) and wanted a quick bit of advice refarding the pipe coming out of the valve cover. What does it do!! Is it a breather pipe?? Mine runs down to just in front of the gear shift and...

I made a cover for the airbox to wash the bike. Tired of taping plastic over the filter.
It's made out of fiberglass. It's kind of a ruff cut but works great. For a seal I have 2 strips of
double sided molding tape where the contact side to the frame is dulled and makes a very good cushion...
I'm checking the valves on my 2005 FE550 and am taking off the ignition side cover to turn the rotor to TDC.
How much oil will there be in this side cover? On other makes of bikes I've had there has only been minimal oil on this side with it coming through a weep hole, so you didn't need to...
Hi All,
After 3 attempts of fitting the clutch cover (after changing the water pump seal), the ruddy kick starter shaft keeps popping out, meaning that I have to remove clutch and align the whole sodding thing again. I've searched the forum for a way to stop this happening, to no avail. I'm...

What is this made of? What appears to be on my bike now was just some liquid gasket gunk, not a "real" gasket at all. Or does this $8 gasket just melt into goo after a while?
Since I was in/out of the clutch so many times with the EXP2 tuning, I just left some goo on...
just a quick question.when refitting the clutch cover on a 03 650,does anyone use a sealant especially round by the kickstart behind the frame.have used hylomar blue before now but always seem to get some on the gauze on the sump plug.im worried this has been around the engine and could block...
what is the hole in middle of oilfilter cover? In my bike there is screw in it. Could it be used to measure oil temprature with somekind of sensor? I have koso speedo and it can be used with 2 temprature sensors, thats why im curious.
I just picked up an 2001 FX470. This thing is a monster! 8O It's my first 4-stroke. I've had 2-strokes for a long time. I just got back from the Desert 100 in Odessa. There was a whole ton of dust that stuck to the cylinder head, due to oil seeping out from the valve cover? Is there a gasket...
Would be great if someone would make a billet ignition cover for the late husaberg engine
The stock one leaks a little, at the top
They are thin and could be damaged in a rocky section tip over
Just a though for the after market guys
Hi All,
Over the weekend I somehow cracked the outer clutch cover on my FE 390. As a result I'll need to remove the cover to fix it, will I need to lay the bike down on it's side to avoid oil running out everywhere or is it safe to remove the cover with the bike on a stand ?
