Hey guys,

Looking for a set of handguards for my '07 fs550e.. I don't wanna order something that's going to make me cut my levers.. they're way too pretty..

Also need axle sliders.. Axle nuts / bolts look solid?

I did do some searching but looking for recent info..

Thanks!

Yellow Acerbis hand guards are fitted to mine, the plastic ones with the alluminium bars running through the centre, not cheap at all but they are very robust and will withstand some serious knocks and drops. Standard levers fit snugly inside.
I've used cheaper pollysport guards before and it's false economy, without the ally bar they just explode into bits on the first contact with anything harder than sand.

tawheed, there are handguards made in Australia called Barkbusters, they are awesome looking, super robust construction and have arguably the best range of mounting options available. there are two models that will probably interest you, the 'Barkbuster Ego' and the 'Barkbuster VPS', the latter is most popular with the SM Crowd, probably due to the shape, both for fitting the levers in (with plenty of room) and for wrist escape in the event of a crash.

Check them out at http://www.barkbusters.net/ , I think that they are also available in the US / North America under the 606 brand name.

Hpe that is a good lead for you.

Azza.

Or you can just idle on down to your friendly local Husaberg dealer and pick up some genuine Husaberg handguards and axle sliders :D
