what did you do to your berg today ?

Tested out my new Dale "E" O suspension...and LOVED riding it even more...got in a good couple hours of seat time on the 570 and didn't think about work at ALL! :D

vacuumed out some oil today and put in some fresh for Sat. ride. So yea, half oil change.
Good to go, fast and easy. I'll do a full oil change next 3 hours

why did you not just change it all ?

Its my way of keeping fresh oil in there.
After a full oil change I only go about 3 hrs before vacuuming the majority of the oil out and
topping off with new. It only takes a few minutes to vacuum out. I may go another 3 hours and do the
same thing but the next 3 hours it gets a full oil change again
It usually works out as 2 rides vacuum, 2 rides vacuum, 2 rides full oil change

Forks seals started leaking oil faster then the Titanic taking in water after a wheelie session. swapped out fork seals............. Its supposed to be relatively easy to slip the new seals back in right?.... Man, what a ***** they where to get in. Confident, I'll try a different brand next time.

I really like that idea. I have a cool little vacuum tool that I may just start using and try this technique...makes good sense to me to keep good oil in with very little effort in between full changes. So far I've only used the vacuum on the lawn mower and generator...never thought to try this with the bike...Thanks!

Yesterday I installed the 70 degree tank and the Endoro Engineering slace cylinder guard. Today, I installed the fan kit. More coming tomorrow.

Finally finished all preventative maint, oil change and final clean from coming back from the Force Ride. So pretty now!!!
Have to get it dirty fast!!!

Recently installed Moto-Pro midvalve kit on my 08 550 (had to tear down to replace upper fork tube that was bent by letting a friend borrow the bike, SHE hit two trees and got a free ride to the hospital) - amazing difference on the square edge roots and rocks around here in the wet.
I was tearing up pirelli scorpion mx front tires(all side knobs missing after a couple of rides) so I also changed to the bridgestone m23, not a single chunk yet.
Gave her fresh oil just like I do every ride Rotella T. New rear wheel bearings, waxed the crap out of the chain, adjust chain, reset front axle to eliminate binding on fork tubes.

I installed a System Tech Racing Rear Caliper Radiator. Pretty cool little part. Bleeds heat away from the rear brake caliper.

fitted a seat lump as i found that i was missing it, having used one on my previous bike.

moved the bar mounts forward so they are 1 back from fully forward (position 3?)

cleaned the air filter, adjusted and oiled the chain, filled up with juice.

increased rebound damping by 2 clicks and increased slow speed comp damping be 2 clicks, just to see how it goes.

just got to go race it tomorrow if i can get out of bed.

been told i can have an entry on the day if i turn up which is nice.
