went for an MOT for my two bikes last week. I took the FS650e which is a 2004 with the leccy start and everything except the indicators fitted.
I also took my standard (less indicators) FE570e with me for its first one: both bikes had about 2 litres of fuel in them . the MOT examiner puts one wheel at a time on a set of scales built into the floor of the test centre and this was what he got:
FS650e
front 60KG
rear 51KG
total 111KG
he then took the FE570e and stuck it on the scales
front
60KG
and then he did the rear which I thought would be way lighter
rear 62KG
weighs 11KG more and all of it on the rear!
would you Adam and Eve it?
