Trying to identify which model my bike is!!

Hi All,
I live in Ireland and have just recently purchased a husaberg but thats all I can tell you for sure. I'm told it's a 600cc model. It's got yellow plastics with yellow/blue decals and blue seat (ribbed). The decals and seat seem to be made by a company called either MXC or MXA, can't quite tell as it is quite faded. The bike is liquid cooled (no fan) and from the photo's I,ve seen on the web seems to look like a mid 90's model. It has upside down forks and an ohlins rear shock. It is a kick start model and has a 4 speed wide ratio gear box. It seems to be a motocross model rather thatn an enduro. Can anyone help me identify it? The frame number was ground off somewhere during it's life time so I can't identify it from that. Any information as to where to locate the engine number would be a great help.
Cheers
Chris

Thanks for those sensible words whosahberg. The bike was bought legitamately at apolice auction as an impounded recovered vehicle. Again any help on my original enquiry would be greatly appreciated.

I´m sorry Chris, but it seems a little suspicious to me when you say "The frame number was ground off".If there is any engine number on it I don´t think it is possible to trace year or model from it.
To learn what year it is you could try google pictures and type husaberg 600.
Again I´m sorry and i hope you got it honestly.

You got to post a picture of the bike, brother, if you want an accurate answer as to the year as well as model. only a picture of the bike will confirm both these questions. I for one am anxious to see what model you got? and i think you'll be surprised by all the help you get after you post a picture of the bike. Good luck brother!

Don't worry bout it Magnusson. Can't blame you for assuming the worst as I didn't give any info on how I got the bike. I'll post some pics as soon as possible and we'll see if any one can help. It will take me until the weekend to get this done so keep an eye on this topic.
