wow! what a surprise! I stayed up all night watching it and watched the miracle unfold! it was just like Brexit as the miracle unfolded!

didn't think much of the way Clinton called off in the Democrat hall just 15 minutes before Phily called a republican vote. like Hilary, man up woman!

I always thought of the US president like it is described in the book 'The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy'; "The President in particular is very much a figurehead—he wields no real power whatsoever. […] His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it."

But that the US couldn't find one candidate that made sense as a president looks very strange for many of us out in the world. I don't really care what will happen nationally in the US as it's up to them how they run their country, but it will for sure be interesting how this affects the global power balance. This together with Brexit will change things for sure. Hard to say if it is for better or for worse in the long run, have to wait and see.

The Donald was right about one thing: the election might have been rigged after all. Maybe Hilary shoulda done what trump threatened to.

There are currently protests going on at most of the university campuses in California and elsewhere. The popular vote is not happy.


Edit: I'm still in shock, don't get me wrong, I'm trying to keep an open mind. I am worried though.

The title of this thread is trump, not deal with Trump. Trump said a lot of things and stepped on a lot of toes during the campaign. 100% inexcusable.

The despair and anguish in the eyes of our wives and daughters due to his misogyny is something that that ******* has going to have to answer for, nobody's going to go away quietly. And that's going to hound him for the rest of his political life.

His racism and bigotry along with attacks on religious groups make him a national disgrace.

BTW, I'm a Republican and a business owner, but no I didn't vote for that poor excuse for a human being. I feel sorry for parents of young children who have a lot of hard to explain things to talk with their children about at this point in time.
