I am thinking of selling my 2002 Husaberg 501FE. She is in pretty good condition. If i decided to sell it, can you tell me around what price I could expect? Sorry for the blurry pics. They are the only ones I could find quickly, and it's stuffed in behind a couple projects right now, so getting a new ones are a bit difficult. All plastics are original (except the fins in front of the radiator),with standard wear. Engine is in great shape. I rebuilt the forks about 6-8 rides ago. I have the headlight but was repairing it at the time I took these pics.

Here in America, I have to confess there isn't much of a market for the old bergs. Parts are getting ever harder to come by and often require shipping from across the pond.

Despite having top notch components stock and really good performance, your buying market is limited to Husanerds. It's like owning an ATK or Vertimati, there's a real limited market and those guys are cheap (I know, I'm one of them).

I'd say you'd be lucky to get 2.5 to 3k tops. More likely, you're going to get offers from 500 to 1,500. But then, I could be full of it. Good luck!

Goose is correct. You might get 2.5 to 3k, but be prepared to sit on it for awhile. I bought an 06 450 with 43 hrs on it for under 3, but it had been listed for sale for about 2 years. Most folks have no idea what a Berg is, others have heard the horror stories of the early Bergs and want no part of it, and super sketchy parts availability doesn’t help either. It’s a small, soft market. I hate to say it but, you might get more for it parting it out.
