hey all - new 'berg owner here. the throttle on my 99 501fe really seems to hit hard just off idle - so much so that it can upset the bike and be really jumpy, especially on the street. the throttle is not sticky at all - it just goes from idle to almost full on in a blink. i've searched the forum, and see that the 98 and earlier model have the throttle cam that you can flip upside down from 'mx' to 'enduro', and that may help. since mine is a 99, the throttle wheel does not have this option.
my question is - if i get a throttle cam from a 98 or earlier domino throttle, will it fit right up and give me the ability to switch back and forth?
or, is going another way better - ie, finding a throttle tube that has a longer pull? aftermarket parts, etc.?
***does anyone have one that they are looking to get rid of?
thanks a bunch - i've learned alot from this site just from the doc and searching around...
