Can't seem to shake the comments made by the dealer I collected the 'Berg from recently in relation to ride length and type - getting the impression that anything more than a few miles of motorway/freeway cruising in top gear will cause systematic engine death!
I'd really like to venture further than the A-roads and twisty coast route that surrounds my house, perhaps covering a 80-100 mile round trip, comprising a mix of A and B roads, with a little bit of motorway/freeway thrown in for good measure.
Now I'm not saying that I'll hit the M4 motorway and pin-it in top for 50 miles solid, but surely this kind of ride is well within the capabilities of my 501 S/M?
Anyone able to shed a little light on the subject/share ride experiences... ?
