Slipper Clutch for off-road usage ?

Has anyone had experience with "slipper" clutches on the Husaberg, specifically in off-road usage ? Steffan Merriman used one his Yamaha WR450F, maybe he is "on to" something.

The road race style back slipping clutches
make the engine braking less,good if you
are used to two strokes,not good if you love
four stroke engine braking.The Revlock and
other centrifical clutches allow you to ignore
the clutch lever and not stall the engine,very
nice on the high strung thumpers,I haven't
rode a two stroke with one yet.
