pictures of my 650 fe exhaust mod

there have been quiet a few people asking about exhausts so i took some pictures of mine.and will attach photoes. the front pipes and conectors are oe the old tail piece was cut off and a new link pipe welded on just after the joint by the heat guard the tail pipe then slips on and is held via a clamp.the tail piece is from blueflame in the uk its a standard race twin port but i have blocked off the top hole useing a coreplug this rebounds the sound waves and reduses the noise its about 85 - 90 db at present.when taken out its around 105db so not legal in the uk.the internals are a y shape the bottom exit is attached to the main baffel thus the gases are rebounded back off the top closed exit then rerooted through the bottom hence the reduction in noise but not gas flow it works simaler to one of the micron piggy back systems.the pipe cost me £75 from a bike show inc link pipe.wheight is a lot less than the standard fe.
