introducing horto who is at any minute now going to tell us about how he fitted the KTM rekluse(?) autoclutch to his berg using a piece of chewing gum, a safety pin, two rubber bands and a lolly pop stick to make it work!

Recently rode a CRF450 with one of these Z-start clutches.............absolutely brilliant (the clutch not the CRF (never liked them!)).

I am waiting for an e-mail from Rekluse to let me know when I can get one. I was told 2 months about 6 weeks ago.

Hey Taffy -

I'm currently working with Sean at Rekluse to develop an application for their auto clutch on the new 2004 bergs. So far, so good. Give us another couple of weeks and we'll have a complete solution.

Husabutt -

I recommend staying away from the Revloc until Doug releases the new Max-P version. The current model has a tendency to take out gears.

Sorry Barry, but I'm only working on the 2004 models which differ significantly from the older bikes.

I know Pat at Rekluse has an experimental unit in his 2001 FE501, but is still in the testing stage.

On the bright side, here's a good excuse to buy a new bike!

Taffy sorry Ive been absent for a while.

I will create a new post re rekluze auto clutch.

In short the Clutch specified for the 00-01 KTM 520/400 fits the 03 berg like a glove.

I have recently talked to Pat at Rekluse about the Z-start clutch for the 03 Bergs. He says testing is complete. The hold up is they (rekluse) is assembling parts kit which includes all necessary parts and gaskets. Also the installation manual is in the process of being compiled.

Z-start clutch may be pre-ordered directly from Rekluse if any one is interested.
