Hi guys, well just got myself a husaberg fe 450 2009 70 degree engine, its sweet yet to take off road though. been doin some road riding and notice engine is a bit noisy, am gona post a video soon but am not sure if these engines are quite rattly normally.
had the vavles go out of spec on my old bike and doesnt sound like that.
herd stories of primary nut coming loose on older ktms, is that still the case with these newer engines? 148 hours use
Any thoughts?
thanks :D

Maybe it needs a Dirt Tricks cam chain tensioner? Check the valve clearances also.

actually does sound a bit like cam chain esp when i let go off the gas. maybe have to invest in a new tensioner.

just undo each CCT retaining bolt by 1 full turn and then re-tighten. mine does it once per year. I do that lil trick and it clicks the CCT up one. job done.

regards

great tip, haven't tried it yet as waiting on tools. however in the meantime i increased the idle speed, just from that seems to sound better lol.
