No 7.5L tank on US Spec 08s??

I was just reading the 08 HSB specs and see that they just changed the website from a week or 2 ago. Now the website says that the US and Australian FEs still come with the old 10.5L tank and the EU models come with the 7.5. WTF??

I am kind of bummed.

Probably because you can actually still ride more than a 40 mile loop in the US and Oz. I personally would find a small tank like that very limiting myself. Besides, the old tank doesn't bother me at all. I actually have gotten used to and like the width of it.

The optional tall (flat) seat makes the most difference. Way easier to move around on.

i'm 100% sure that you can order the bike and specify a change in tank at some cost. try it and you may even start a trend stateside.

anyway, you have a small alloy tank so what are you questioning it all for?
