:D Now Available for Husabergs...

BRP in Irvine CA is now up and running with the Sub Mount and standard Bar system and rubber mounted upper triple clamps for Husabergs. Who says that aftermarket parts are not available?

Keep in mind, I am not affiliated with BRP (other than being a BRP dealer) so they are not involved with me placing this post...however, they are a great bunch of guys who love to ride and make awesome products.

I have a couple of sets coming in and will place one set onto one of our demos...

If your interested, please contact BRP or us for further details...images are not available yet but go to brp.com to see basically the same system just slightly different upper T-Clamp if the following image link does not work. The Sub Mount system is awesome for taller riders and allows a bar pad, and the damper system is awesome to eliminate headshake or ward off rocks and roots (especially at high speeds).

Had to have it!

Hi everybody, I installed one of these setups a few weeks ago and love it.

Thanks to bikebarnbeckman for getting me the T-Clamp hot off the press.

The fit and finish is top notch very trick.

I looked on BRP's web site and did see the application for Husaberg listed. Does the setup accomodate all 4 handlebar positions? If not, which ones?

RE: Re: Had to have it!

Does it get rid of alot of the vibration on the 650?

why wouldn't a KTM style sub mount work with a Husaberg style post??? triple clamps are the same 20mm offset aren't they??

Have Fun

No, Husabergs are 22mm. The KTM submounts are not tall enough for the damper to clear the steering stem nut on the Husaberg, which is different than the KTM's. I know some have modified theirs to work, so it can be done.

You can get the adapter that bolts to OEM top clamp. You will have to modify the nut or get a diffent one for the top clamp in order to clear the damper. I'll ask my customer today if it helped with vibration on his 650.

Guy's im no expert and i dont work for Scotts or BRP...

Johnf3, I dont know Nick said "They told me it was the 2 most forward positions" I wanted the stock position.

faktor, The bar perches are rubber mounted, and it does reduce vibration.

laptraffic, Yes they do, But the clamp is much more 'sano'

All in all with the 1" taller seat and bar position and the damper, the bike now fits like a glove and is easyer to ride.
