G'day all.
Just purchased an '05 FS650e and loving it! Never had a bike that wants to be on the back wheel so much. I normally ride road bikes, own a K6 GSX-R750 and '03 RSV Mille and bought the 'Berg as a fun transport/urban assault vehicle. What a fun bike. Finished early today so I took her for her maiden voyage. Down to Bundeena national park in Sydney, a road I know well. This bikes handling is awesome and will only improve when I get a little more accustomed to her. I rounded up a CBR600RR, Triumph speed triple(I had to lock up the back wheel into the following hairpin as I had braked a bit late after the overtaking maneuver, not a problem thanks to the 'Bergs manners but a slight problem in my pants) and flew past an RVF400. Wonder what they all thought to be passed by a Motard. I was grinning all the way. Anyway, hope to learn alot here and maybe add a little as well.

Hi thesav, i am also a new owner and i think i spoke to the guy you bought your bike from. I had my bike out the front of my kids school (Quakers Hill) this morning and he commented that he just sold his Berg. I remembered seeing it advertised a couple of weeks ago.
He was still singing its praises, from what he said it sounds like you have yourself a bit of a weapon there, enjoy. Rocky

The 'Berg you saw was probably mine Rocky. Bloke I bought it off lived in Quakers Hill. I'm also in the Eastern suburbs Steve, in Maroubra. Where do you go riding? I've just taken it to the national park a couple of times as the fuel range is just right for a return trip. Except for today when I had to switch to reserve as I forgot to refuel on the way home. PM me if you fancy the trip one Sunday. Like your bike btw. I've already thought about doing mine in black. If you painted the tank black on yours it would look sweet.
