Hello to everyone here. I just came across the site while looking for some reviews for Husabergs.
We have just become a proud dealer for the Husaberg line here in Victoria, British Columbia. Our first bikes will be arriving next week and we can't wait. The first FE 650 has been sold sight unseen. :D
Anyway, I hope I can use this site as an information resource. Our shop has a lot to learn about the bikes and this forum seems like a great place to gain valuable info.

Thanks,

Jim

Welcome aboard Jim.
Short of the factory, this is the best place to learn about Husabergs. Peruse the forums and use the search function to pick up a wealth of info. It won't take long to learn who the experts are and to become involved. Congrats on the Husaberg dealership.
It's a long way from BC to Moab Utah, but read the posts in the Force RIde forum and give serious thought to going.

Hi, Jim....
Great to have ya with us!!!
Dez is on the money with his info. We have a broad knowledge base and a broader spectrum of supportive Husaberg riders, ranging from 1st time owners to owners of multiple 'bergs , all ready and able to jump in and give a hand if you have questions.

Welcome Twisty,
I try to get up to B.C. every so often. I'll have to stop in for a visit.

Thanks everyone. All of us are very excited about representing Husaberg.
I will look into the force ride, however I am already committed to ride down to Montereyon my RC51 for the Motogp . Two trips may be pushing it time wise. It's tough being a motorcyclist

Welcome aboard Twistyroad!!!

I'm glad to see another Canuck on the board.

As you say, being a motorcyclist has its burdons, but the motogp will be meow. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. But the force ride is in 10 days and spur of the moment road trips are a blast!!

be good

I just had rotator cuff surgery so I will not be back in the saddle for about eight weeks :x

I just got back from the new Victoria husaberg dealer, Adrenalin Motorcycles! I am glad to report a high level of support and enthusiasm. These guys are total bike nuts that support the local biking community. They host bike clinics, organize rides and even have a large comfortable loft complete with cushy chairs and a huge TV for watching bike video's! :pimp: They even have factory tools!

All they are waiting for is their first Husabergs, but they should be on the showroom floor by this weekend.

All you Islanders, get your butts in there!

Thanks for the great write up Grok!

Your complimentary FS650E should be arriving soon!

Did I mention the small $11,000 PDI charge?

Twistyroad Welcome aboard! And good luck with your adventure in business!
Twisty I have a quick question what’s the name and what do you do with the tool post in the picture above tool # 4.29.037?

I believe that the tool in question is for removing the inboard counterbalancer bearing.

My dealer uses a tool looking just like that to remove the crank main roller bearing inner races from the crank. You heat up the aluminum center section on a hot plate or in an oven, fit it over the bearing race and squeeze the handles to grip the race and with a twisting motion pull the heated race off of the crank shaft.

I have to say we just got the board two days ago and I am not sure what it does yet. I will ask our mechanic today and see what he says. Joe's explanation sounds pretty good.

And here I thought it was a member extender 8O
