Hi all,
So I had never really known what a Husaberg was, until Thursday when I was sent a link to a local one by a friend. I've been in the market for another off-roader ever since selling my XR400R about a year ago and seeing loads of bikes out on Salisbury Plain near where I live.
Well, the long and the short of it was that I fell for it when I saw it, and just had to have it. It appeals to my desire to have something a little bit different, and on the test ride it confirmed that it really is a bit of an animal and will need some respect!
There's quiet a few tidying up jobs I'd really like to do, but it isn't going to be a show bike by any means as I know I'll fall off more than a few times!
Some intriguing things are the Hi/Lo switch by the throttle, which the previous owner said was a power switch. Is that true and, if so, am I right in assuming it's just a slightly different ignition map to change the power delivery?
