2005 FE550. Bike has 79 hours on it and I'd like to keep it but, motor seized. Short version is clutch cover was punctured and metal shavings in oil. Replaced oil a dozen times and it got clean towards the end and was running well, then it seized up and emitted a plume of white smoke. Been reading the forums and it seems that taking it to my local mechanic might not be the best solution because the Husaberg motor has quite a few unique issues. I'm in Reno, Nevada and am seeking recommendations for Husaberg expert in the USA to rebuild it correctly. Shipping internationally probably would be too expensive. Or, if there are any new, old stock motors available, that'd be an option.
