three days later i still walk like john wayne!

has anyone any experience of a 'better' seat foam? i know you have guts over there in the USA but it's proven results that matter isn't it!

in the saddle 8O 8O 8O

i'm not looking for taller-just better!

Seat Foam

Taffy, I purchased the Guts racing seat cover and taller foam option about a year ago. I love it, it is so much more comfortable than stock and the quality if 1st class. They also have a standard foam which I understand is softer than stock but I don't have first hand experience. I have a pic of my taller seat in my gallery.

how tall are you because one thing, sat here, i don't need is taller foam. i'm 5' 10".

what was nicer about it? the pain?

i bet someone at UHE has tried the softer foam?

I belive I gave about $150 for a set of Guts foam and cover last year, incl. shipping to Sweden.
Worked smooth and Guts were really cool to deal with

I opted for the tall foam with softer density and I love it.
It has a nicer profile in my eyes so I do get e better "seating" position and find it easier to move around in a way i like so it does help in my riding.
It does save my arse quite a bit too and that alone is worth the investment too me

I'm 6' by the way.

Taffy, I think I paid about $120US with shipping. What is nice about it is the extra padding prevents (or at least greatly slows) my getting rubbed raw around the tailbone on my rear end. Due to a bad knee I am unable to get up on the pegs like I did when I was younger. This seat is much more comfortable even with the firm foam.

I am 5'11"(180cm) but I have a fairly long inseem (leg length) 33" (84cm).

I just put a standard highth GUTS soft foam in a
KTM and it made a big difference.Some shaffing
is caused by the cover material and the next option
is a cover by CEET.It feels close to a KDX cover
which my butt liked much better.
