BTW despite my fumbling and lack of knowledge. I still think my new FE450e is the coolest bike on the planet and looks nice next to his Te-510 distant cousin in my garage.

I am reading the 4 stroke motor enclyopedia material and I will visit motoXotica next week and pay their mechanic to instruct me first hand on the Valve adjustment procedure on my bike.
I need hands on instruction as to when I am at the right place in the stroke to check and adjust the valves. The book learning will help but I need to visually see the piston and valves and cam lobes to know what is what , when is when and how is how.
I will report back after my training session late next week.
