Husaberg production ends this Year 2014

Husaberg gets replaced by Husqvarna

In 2014 Husaberg will be celebrating not only its 25th anniversary but it will be the last year of the brand. In January 2013 Stefan Pierer, The current CEO of KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG who is also 51% shareholder of KTM AG, purchased 100% stake in Husqvarna AG from BMW through his company Pierer Industrie AG and renamed it to Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH.

The heard of us swiss Husaberg enthusiast are bleading.

But in reality the Husaberg engineers got back the Husqvarna name, the tech will be the same (KTM....).

I guess you are right. 1988 till 2013 are 25 years. why is there an 2014 Model and why do they call it 25t aniversary model ??? im confused

last month after 7 years I bought my second Husaberg from my dealer, he told me surprisingly that this is the last year of the brand.

how ever. KTM made what we all where already frighten of 7 years ago. they let the brand die..

I guess the "confusion" comes from the fact that it's always next years model that are released. So in 2013 the 2014 models were sold, the last "husabergs".
