Just ordered a lithium battery on ebay :D
Does anyone KNOW how much the fs570 weighs wit full tank of fuell...
There are so much different specs going around the net dry weight/without fuell etc all saying differnt things...
I "tryed" to weigh mine with a crapy not accurate scale on the stand and got 126 kg (with alpina rims wich are almost 3kg's lighter than stock)

got the HID conversion today just started installing in the headmask cut a hole in the midddle of the rubber.
This was easy'r than I expected the only thing I had a little trouble with was getting teh stock bulb out of the black plastic thingy
The hard part is yet to come...

Nice! 8)

I have also ongoing 570 project going on, or it "has" been from the day one I bought it new in 2011 summer.
Had a stock motor this summer with only fmf full ti exhaust + dna filter + cutted shrouds / hole in the seat and untuned but fueling was slightly richer across the board using the UST tool. Made 55whp and 52Nm.

Now I have some nice parts going in the motor.

- 13:5:1 CP piston, custom ceramic coated crown and skirts with techline CBX and DFL-1 coatings.
- Hardwelded new cam with more lift and duration (long gone is the enduro feeling of the motor when this gets in)
- FP-engineering 46mm custom throttle body /w billet alu velocity stack
- FP-engineering standalone ECU to let map everything. Fuel, ignition, rev limiter, launch control, quickshifter timing etc. OEM ECU gets thrown in the bin.
- Ported head and maybe something done also to the valves, seats, springs and retainers if the tuner sees the need to upgrade or do machining work.

Bike is in complete bits at the moment with just bare frame and plastics on it. Motor is unopened as I'm waiting for the ECU and 46mm TB before I start tearing it apart. Have all the other bits waiting. Getting the 16.5x3.5 / 17x5.00 Excel wheels, spoke nipples, outer fork tubes, and some other alu pieces anodized at the moment. Been polishing the wheels and nipples for perfect gloss finish, so when they get anodized it comes out with deep gloss colored finish.

Maybe I should start my own thread soon if someone might be interested to read my project.

defintely start a thread!
Just spend an hour playing with ziptie's velcro cutting zipties tryings something else to mount 4/5 different setups and now it's perfect you almost can't see there's a HID kit on the bike except for the different lightbulb 8) everything is nicely tucked away under the mask without pushing the mask forward (that was my biggest problem at first :) )
everything is installed except for the 3 wires that have to be connected to the controls on the bars :)

I tested the headlight and it works great now they will not only hear me but see me coming to
Stopped by a dealer for a dyno run "before tuning" and this was the result very pleased wit it 8)

Good results, quite similiar graphs like mine. Mine pulled up to ~9800rpm before limiter cutted. Yours did not make it to 9000rpm or was the throttle closed before limiter? Torque falls the same like mine after 7000rpm (cam, head and throttle body issue).

I got the ECU and 46mm throttle body today.
Now it's humongous compared to the tiny 42mm throttle.

The guy on the dyno didn't pull it to the rev limiter as soon as the forks compressed (power building off) he closed the throttle :)

when are you going to dyno :D
And did you try 44mm bored out stock TB or directly from stock>46 TB ?
I am doing this stuff in januari:
-get the head ported by bergos
-Get TB bored out to 44mm and bigger valve by bergos
-fmf megabomb header
-DNA air filter

Than go back to the dyno and see what changed...
If the bike runs as good curves as now (good a/f and nice smooth hp/nm lines ) I think I will not even bother getting it custom mapped costs another €300 to get 1 maybe 2 extra hp here and there for that much cash...
If it doesn't run great I will get it mapped offcourse :p

Don't know yet. Haven't opened up the motor and I have some other things to do before. Hopefully in january-february 2013.

Not worth to bore out the stock TB imo, the design is not that good to begin with. 44mm is the max you can go, then you loose the taper in the bore and then it's basically a pipe with a valve in it = zero flow.

Now when I can compare both the custom 46mm and oem 42mm I can see the reason why oem is not good at all (maybe for enduro to get that instant low end punch and smooth acceleration). The intake lenght is a bit longer with the 46mm and the huge velocity stack aids to flow a bit better. Might be one hella explosion of acceleration when the throttle plate gets opened.

Also the ECU might be the most important addition that I also got. stock ecu lets only map injection and even that with the UST tool does not let to map it with fine resolution maps. Ignition timing is the key to make most power out of the motor and change the charisterics of it. Stock timing is really mild, suited for enduro. Now I have the possibility to map everything, change the rev limiter and also it has built-in quickshifter function and came with sensors to install on the bike.

Nice way to spend 1000€ but life is.

hmmm maybe I just stay with stock Tb than if it doesn' make a noticeable difference costs almost 300 to get it modified to 44...
A 46 TB and other ECU is way beyond my budget I will definetly get the head done that's for sure and dna filter+megabomb header would be about 5 extra horses I think :?:
No hole in the seat but cut the edge of the shrouds around the air filter.
And I ordered some enduro tyres for my stock wheels yesterday I suck offroad but I wanna have some fun in the winter

I'm not saying it wont make a difference. Wierus had a Bergos tb and he gained approx 2-4hp out of it.
What I'm saying is that the price of stocker bored and the custom 46mm is not that much (100-150€ diference).

I also wanted a set of dirt wheels, forks and shock for enduro, higher offset triples and small front brake for this winter. No way I'm getting those as currently my "estimated" budget is thrown in the bin. Building a motor ain't cheap and I need Ohlins sd2.1 steering damper also.

approx €400 for 46mm. Needs TPS and injector from oem TB. If you are interested I can give contact info.

The other from Bergos is complete new oem TB that has the porting done to it. The cheaper requires your old TB sent to Bergos.

thx for the info but I think I will just send my head/TB to bergos If i had some more cash to spend I would go for 46 but I have spend loads of money last months on the berg so trying to save
(from august):
Alpina rims
HID kit
Sprockets
new chain sliders
New sidi boots
Talon footpegs
Tyres
HID kit
DNA filter
Ordered fmf header
Lithium battery
Another set of tires
And so on and so on  do'n want to count all this € together

Just got a message that the fmf header will take at least 40 days to arrive :x
Than I will wait a little longer to take the bike apart

Where are you getting the FMF? I got mine from cyclebuy.com

They told that there were only couple headers available in the country that I was getting last of them. Don't know was that true or not, but 40 days mehh. :x

My dealer ordered it hrough a belgium fmf importer do'n know who or te name...
They could order it with a german importer and get the header in 2 weeks but at 190€ difference in price I choose to wait a little longer
Got a good deal for 464€ only long delivery time
