Just want to say hi to everyone, and look forward to being part of the community!

As of today I am now a Husaberg owner, and look forward to creating a bond with this beautiful motorcycle, and along the way am hopeful of participating in this excellent forum in a meaningful way. I have a lot of learning to do!

I will post up some photos soon...

You could eat a meal off that! Awesome purchase man, love the aftermarket headlight. Look after it and it reap the rewards. Rip a wheelie for me!

Nice purchase !!!!

If I can ask , how much did this go for ??

Thanks

Thanks! I paid $4600. It is a fe converted to a fs. It came with OEM manuals, a full gasket set, some special tools, a new plug, some carb parts, 3 extra sprockets and a longer chain. The gearing is currently 15/38 to go with the super moto wheels tires and brakes.

It also has a complete service history by the original owner... I'm the 3rd owner but number 2 is a dealer so I'm basically 2nd owner. Mileage is 8690. Last service 250 miles and 3 months ago. The original owner did all service work, which is also my plan.

One year exactly of pre-paid CA registration too. The bike was brought here from Reno, Nevada. It's all in great shape, couple hundred miles on the tires etc, but it looks like it's ready for front brake pads.

These bikes are very scarce in California, and street legal post- 2003 are almost non-existent here due to the CARB emission standards requiring catalytic converters effective January '04. Since this is an out-of-state bike over 7500 miles it could be grandfathered in.

Also, thanks pollo and LemoneyF!

I'll have to practice my wheelies... I used to MX back in the late seventies (oops just gave up my age [emoji849]) so it's been a while. My beemer, all 600 pounds of it, likes to keep its wheels on pavement at all times in spite of being able to do 0-60 in 3.2 [emoji83]
