Just to let you know, I made a few changes to my bike and now it runs great.
I removed the small cylinder in the end cap that so it's like the enduro model now(I think).
I remapped my ecu...I think it's the unrestricted one now (race map).
Now it runs like it should be. It's a little bit louder now (like a enduro bike) but it's not that big of a deal. The bike runs noticeably cooler too. And no more back fire when chopping the throttle.
also, I did not received my replacement headlight bulb, but I noticed that one of the wires (green or brown) was loose, where it connects to the flat connector. So maybe it was loosing connection often (with vibration) and it made the bulb blow...???
I installed an enduro rear fender with a led back light with integrated turn signal...not really legal but it sure looks better than stock and it won't break.
Unless your pipe is a lot different than mine, the removal of the screw in end cap does almost nothing. If you would like to improve the exhaust flow and really improve your cooling, take off the end cap, then you will find a small tube and washer set up blocking 90% of the exhaust from being able to exit. Take a hack saw and cut that off the end cap, and you will have solved your problem. The bike will be louder, but not above the legal decible limit here in the US, I know, it's been tested. It is still quieter than an FMF exhaust and really about the same as the factory exhaust on my 05 KTM 525.
Really happy with the mods and how the bike runs now.
