Interested if any 2012 FE owners outside of Australia are experiencing problems with graphics peeling away. There is a known issue here in Aus where all the graphics other than the radiator shrouds graphics are peeling away one or two rides / washes later. My new FE390 looks like I have blue & yellow streamers hanging off the rear guard.

Yep I would like to know this also, pay $13000 for a new bike and 3 weeks later it looks like it is 3 years old, my graphics were coming off when I picked it up from the dealer, I was told to ring in a week and they would put in a claim for some new ones, thats fine but I bet they will come off also and I have to put the buggers on!!
They should do all the graphics like the radiators shrouds

I'm in the U.S. My 2012 TE300 graphics are peeling away as well. I've only washed the bike twice and I don't use chemicals. Just soap and water.

Well over 200 hours on my 09 570 and the front fender graphics are original and holding tight.

Replaced the rear fender about 50 hours ago and they are good, original rear fender graphics are still on.

As with the first post, the problem is with the 2012 bikes, just about every 2012 berg owner I have spoken to here in Australia has the same problem, and the ones that have taken the time to replace with new ones have found they to peel off, whats the go Mr Husaberg

Thanks All, this definitely seems like a factory defect across the board for 2012 Husabergs. Would hate to be the guy at the factory who was responsible for that one.

Im considering removing graphics and replace with after market graphics or remove all graphics and replace the black rear fender with a white one.

I'm in South Africa, 390 12, after one ride shroud and side covers peeling, the side covers I can kinda understand as I hold the bike tight with my knees and boots when standing on fast sections, crap design, Rad our distributor where I bought the bike put in a claim to Burg but they came back and declined, Rad said they will get a local guy to make up a new set at there charge, but like you say this is only going to happen again, tail piece those fingers are also starting now and I have only 16hrs on her, not happy either. I look after my stuff so how that I see this blog, must be a factory issue.

Hi,

I'm from Australia and I have a 2012 Husaberg FE390 and I have not experienced this with my graphics yet thank god!

The tank shroud's graphics are actually moulded into the plastic, as for the rear this is just a guess but when i looked to buy a replacement rear fender it does not come with the graphics you have to buy them separate. That then got me thinking do they come from factory with the graphics on or does the dealership install them upon assembly from the crate? I say this because my graphics are not exactly installed very straight and plum.

Just a thought.

virtually every sticker was peeling off somewhere on my 2012 australian fe570. got a new set under warranty but will put those on when i eventually sell the bike (hard to imagine, the berg is so good reselling should be made a criminal offense). they dont seem to be peeling off any further than when i picked up the bike.

even if the replacement ones dont stick i'd probably just get a set of those aftermarket sets on ebay for $150.

Hey guys,

I bought new fork guard stickers for my 2010 570 to freshen her up this spring. They never did adhere right.

so, i gently pealed them back off, sprayed the back sides with 3M vinyl adhesive spray, and stuck back on. Never coming off again!! Its $12 a can, but who cares if your stickers are on for good?!

Just spray it on thin, this stuff is a pretty gnarly adhesive! And, too much can make it bubble.

Take care

My rear stickers on my te 250 (2012) were peeling after my first ride. Never even thought to get a warranty claim on them. I was pissed too. Bike looks like crap.

Hi Guys,
I just got my new stickers under warranty (from the nice people at MPE). Does anyone know if it was an issue with the stickers or the application? i.e. Should I bother putting them on?

I would recommend what Berg570FE Said (below) When you apply the graphics spray some extra 3M vinyl adhesive

Here in Aus also, 2012 FE 570 after first wash they are all lifting up & trying to fall off, so I just peeled them off a bit then sprayed them with some vinyl adhesive & they haven't moved since, but yeah it's not good enough on a quality piece of machinery like our bergs, they are not some cheap Chinese **** after all.

Hi Guys, can someone shed a little light on the best adhesive glue to use to re stick the peeling decals back on the bike once cleaned, I used bostick on my shrouds and it was to aggressive, made the sticker bubble and crease.
I'm is S.A so something I would know this side of the world
Shot for your input, have a power X-mas and new year.
