Hi Fryguy,
I need a medium

marvellous. now we've got to have a bloody seyance (sp?) every evening as well!

i find that riding a little and often helps and there is no need to turn to the supernatural.

regards

Taffy

House rules: NO hocus pocus mumbo jumbo witches of eastwick. Just jokes, spirits ( liquid kind ),and pure unadulterated lies!
BTW its Bobzilla with 2 bergs and a KTM +=3 guys.

Unaduterated? All my lies are adult rated!?!?!?!

I'm putting together some CDs for the trip. The rasberry porter has aged well (only 3 liters left now)(I HAD to test it), and spirits are high.

Can we have a little hocus pocus mumbo jumbo? I hear spirituality is good for the soul!

Priorities

hehe, I've prepared as well. I've loaded my mp3 player, and bought a new book on eBay, in case I finish my current one while in the sandbox :)

thanks,
json

 Aww... does this mean we are going to hear a lot of corny British puns? :p Wait till you see my supernatural riding style. You will probably offer me a full ride scholarship to Taffy's Academy for Riding. If someone here is a Wiccan, maybe they could do something to cause good weather to occur where we ride.

When are the Southern California guys leaving? Maybe I will luck out and come across someone, since the internet says going through Barstow and then up highway 15 is faster for me.

No idol worship needed

Cancel the Indian weather dances.
Juist checked the weather .gov site and good news.

Forecast for Moab:

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 58.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 60.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low near 32.

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 61.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 62

That is the best forecast we could pray for.

If it was sunny instead of partly cloudy, you would get a lot hotter riding.

Onlt 2 days until Taffy arrives, then road trip time!

My wife is a Wiccan and thats why we got good weather and why I don't need any munbo jumbo eye of newt crap.
Packing the truck today and its hard not to go ride because it's the best day we've had all year here about 55 and sunny with wet dirt.
Taffy have a good flight and don't bring anything on the plane. I find its best to go " commando " through the screeners cause its always worth a laugh when they say " I need to see the inside of your waist band sir". The look on their face whet they look down and all they see are my "friends" is priceless. Needless to say my wife does NOT go through the screening area with me at all. Take some sleeping pills so you you can sleep the whole way and then you wont need to sleep for the next week.
t minus 2

Hope you all have a safe and good ride. Might make it next year (fingers crossed) will find out who snores and watch out for barking spiders  .Good luck and have fun.

Splat,

My wife and I are leaving for Moab around Midnight on the 2nd, and expect to arrive around 3:00PM on the 3rd.

The other party we expected to share our cabin has cancelled out, so we will have room for at least one and maybe two people, depending on which cabin we actually get upon arrival. We had reserved a cabin for 2-4 folks for 3 days starting on the 3rd.

Force Ride

Hi, gang...
Hope all you Force members, families , and friends have a great time in Moab and the surrounding country!! Take a bunch of pix and vids, just to make the rest of us green with envy, and give the desert a good going-over for me. It has only been 40 years since I last had desert dust in my face!!!
Make sure you check your shoes and boots before you put them on - there are a lot of ornery 4,6,8, and no-leggers that just LOVE warm, smelly, damp places to hide!
YEEEEEOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!
Ride safe and have a ball!!

FC501EAST,

Let's plan a Husaberg USA Force Ride East for early june 2007. I'll be moving back to NY then and will be looking for riding oppotunities.

South Dakota will have an official trail system by next year. the 2006 could be here in the black hills. 2007 in the north east, 2008 in the south east(let's get some red clay on our knobbies).

I'm getting ahead of myself, better finish packing for this year.

BTW, if anyone has a extra oil drain plug, please bring it along I need a new one and don't have time to get one shipped. I'm pretty sure to put enouh time on this to need an oil change during the trip.

PISS ON IT! Work sucks! I got to work today and decided I cant wait and I am going to leave tomorrow. . Have a good trip and I'll have the pubs checked out for you all.
FYI I talked to Utah Parks today and you need a sticker for your bike if you dont have a agreement between states even if you have a License tag. Pick them up at Maverics. Kind of a rip off but I guess its the price you pay.
Drive safe boys and I'll be thinking of you at work tomorrow.

Taffy Your girlfreind is wrong YOU better bring the plugs My wife laughed at the post about snoring. She says thats one contest I will win hands down and I can also go to sleep in about 45 seconds.
For me T minus 1

Hi Brendan:
We will be leaving Wednesday morning from the San Diego area going that way. Driving a white w/gold trim F150 4x4 pulling a small silver enclosed trailer. Staying the night in Vegas.

FYI,

I checked the Utah Parks web site and those of us coming from California do not need an OHV sticker as long as you have a GREEN or RED California OHV sticker.

From the Utah State Parks web site;

States With Reciprocity

If a state is not listed, this means that no reciprocity is offered by that state or the state has no current
registration program for Off Highway Vehicles. Lists below are states that will not need a non-resident
permit for particular off highway vehicles.

ATV / Motorbike

Arkansas
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Florida
Idaho
Indiana
Iowa
Louisiana
Minnesota
Montana
New Mexico
New York
North Dakota
Ohio
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Texas
Vermont

See you all in Moab!

Mike

The stickers are $30 per bike at either off the 2 Mavericks gas stations in Moab. you'll need proof of ownership(bill of sale or reg). 2 more days, the truck is almost loaded.

Everyone,

To expand on Bobzilla's idea, MotoXotica has generously donated a new Husaberg banner to be raffled off to the highest bidder. So make sure you bring plenty of money. All the money generated from this raffle will go to this site.

They have also provided me with some fender decals as well.

Thank you,
Dan & Ann.

Oh yeah I almost forgot  Bring your walletts boys cause while donations are always needed this time I am bringing a roundtrip ticket anywhere Alaska airlines flys to be auctioned off for a donation. That way the donation gets made and you get something else for your money. Check out the web site and Im sure they go someplace you want to go.
Cant wait

See you on Thursday,
Mike

Stickers?????

When we rode in Moab last fall, we did not have any OHV stickers. We did ride past a ranger doing his rounds, and he didn't say anything about needing stickers.

I'm not telling anyone to break the law, but I don't plan on buying any stickers for our 3 bikes.

I didn't see any stickers on any other bikes at any of the staging areas.

Hurry Taffy, we want to go now!
