Fellow Berg Riders,
After quite a while of sitting unridden, the front brakes on my 2011/2012 FE390 where nearly to the handle bars before any pressure, so I decided to strip the master cylinder and fit a new (genuine) Brembo seal kit. After reassembly I have no brake pressure at all ???. I've bleed and bleed for ever, I disassembled the master cylinder again and checked, all good. I disassembled the caliper, flushed, cleaned, reassembled, all good. I've plugged the banjo socket on the master cylinder and have full pressure, rock solid. So I'm thinking that the brake line my be faulty after years of service. Anyone experienced this issue ?

Hello Stephengr.

Have you tried reverse bleeding the system?

Get a big plastic syringe. Get some vacuum or fuel hose that fits over the end of the syringe and over the bleed nipple, and push the brake fulid through from the brake calliper end up to master cylinder.

When storing the bike, I've heard of people using a rubber band over the lever and handlebar to keep pressure applied to the system.
