I just got my pipe installed on the Fe570 and worked out great. I'll post some pics of it when I get back from work.
I found that from the factory it sounded like a sewing machine, not a dirtbike. Not to mention the power seemed pretty flat for a 570 in a high state of tune. I was going to try the new FMF Husaberg pipe but couldn't find any out yet so I bought a FMF Titanium Powercore in Anodized Blue finish off of Ebay for the 525 EXC.
I had to grind the aluminum front bracket a bunch to allow it to bolt back in, but this took maybe 5 minutes. You also have to use the large spacer that is included with the pipe at the front bracket.
Impressions:
Power across the board seems noticeably stronger, the factory pipe is stuffed up bad with baffles and this one is straight through with a smooth transition from the pipe. Noticeable torque increase on the bottom and mid. Seems to rev out better as well too, probably picked up a couple ponies up top.
Deep throaty sound but not too loud. If you've heard the 08 KX450 with the cheater pipe that they use from the factory, it sounds slightly less loud than that. Combined with the intake noise it sounds fantastic. I can ride all day and it doesn't make your ears ring, but people commented that it sounded tough. I can't see anyone ever complaining about the noise, but I don't live in Cali so I'm not sure how sticky they are there.
Ti Powercore is lighter and shorter than factory, sticks out just past the number plate.
Doesn't rub the rear tire when you bottom out like the factory can. And I am bottoming out constantly, this factory suspension is far too soft for MX use.
It comes with a removable spark arrester. I left it in for now, with it removed the sound is louder and has a little more "tinny" ring to it.
Cheap ($280 USD on ebay) for a Ti pipe.
Looks sweet in the Anodized Blue finish, which matches the Berg blue nicely.
Overall, I am happy with it and recommend it for guys with the stocker can still on.
