All the KTM and Husaberg 4-stroke enduro models I've seen can use the same muffler. From 250 -06 to 570 -12.Thurston said:THEBIGNESS said:..from the sounds of things all the ktm 4-stroke mufflers are the same as the Husabergs?
Are you absolutely sure about that your friend has a 2006 250EXC-F ?jon andersson said:...
I do know that my FE570 muffler fit my friends KTM 250 EXC -06. I had a FE390 before my 570 and that muffler looks the same. My impression is that mufflers are quite compatible over model and brand when it comes to KTM-Husaberg.

smorris said:I just recently purchased a 2011 FE 570S (and I'm a new member here too) After scouring through some online parts fiches, I decided to go ahead and give purchasing a KTM specific exhaust a shot. I went with the newest FMF Factory 4.1 RCT Blue Anodized Titanium (because stainless was back ordered) slip on FMF part #045403. I am happy to report that the slip on fit without any issues--no grinding, no extra spacers, just slip right on.
Two things to note. It appears that the the midpipe on the KTM's may be ~0.5-1 cm longer (or the mounting points are this distance further forward on the KTM) as the slip on will not butt up against the midpipe the same as the stock one. I do not notice any leaks at the junction, but I plan on adding some Ultra Copper RTV silicone just to be safe. The second thing I feel should be noted is the sound output  The exhaust did come with a spark arrestor/94 dB insert which I have not had the opportunity of installing. Hopefully this will quiet it down a bit. I hope this helps anyone on the fence about getting a blue slip on.
