If I could own only one bike it would be a 500cc+ machine meaning the FE550 or the TE-510, I don't like the KTM 525 personally, but that said I really like my Fe450 in the woods, never rode a 550 in the woods, but rode one in the desert, and prefered my Fe450e in the woods over even my beloved TE-510. I could tell by the 550 ride that the Fe550 has that big power which though manageable in tight stuff tends to be more then you need, so I ride my 450 everywhere, but the desert, in the desert the fe450 kinda sucks actually..... Basically my experience says if you want a Husaberg and you can only have one, and you ride both single track and open places, get the Fe550e

do yourself a favour sometime and climb on board the 650 , i have ridden the 450 and its good .

but the thing is you can ride a 650 like a 450 but you cant ride a 450 like a 650 .

i speak in regard to the power delivery .
