FE 450, 2005, Force Edition

Thanks Taffy!

Here's some pics to clarify....

1. Inner clutch hub from my engine, part nr. 59032002100R:

Engine side, you can see the holes (spring retainer bolt holes drilled through):

2. New, never used inner clutch hub, part nr. 59032002500R:

Engine side, no holes

Outside

So, you're saying that the hub with part nr. ending -500 is the newest and the best part available?

And 17L Clarke tank.....

I got an exhaust - headers and connecting pipe off a 2005+ model and it doesn't fit my 2004 FE 450. Is there a trick to make it fit....cutting/welding? I really like the look of the newer model pipe but if it's too much of a hassle I would probably be willing to sell it...

makazica, how come they dont fit? where is the problem? does the connecting pipe touch the frame, or what? I want them headers, I have now head from 2006 model year, must fit! tell me what it exactly means that they dont fit. make sure there is "450" stamped with a die on the surface of both headers that touch the head. I have such headers with 650 on them, they dont fit at all.

Cant wait to see it covered in ****!

Cracking job fella, done loads of strip downs on road going bikes, dont think i could do it to a dirtbike knowing the abuse that will entail.

I didn't know that it should have a "450" stamped, I'll check.

The mounting point on the connecting pipe doesn't align with the hole on the bracket welded to the frame and of course my 2004 muffler doesn't fit. I could cut & weld but it's too big of a hassle right now.

In the next couple of days I'll try to source a 2005+ muffler but if I don't find it it's up for sale.....edelweiss is #1 in line.

I enjoy working on it and I enjoy breaking it.

makazica: there is a rubber connecting link between the rear part of middle pipe and the frame fitting, I dont know, if you know this, dont know how it looks on 2004.

Headers dont fit, they are for a 650 model and are up for sale cheap...contact me via pm if interested.

A couple of hours and ready to race...

Three years ago a friend sold his 2007 FE550 with barely 40 hours on it. Today the bike is his again....with 80 hours on the clock....

What a monster of a bike...
