FE 450, 2005, Force Edition

Would a cbr 900 starter fit a fe 450? Its from a 99 model honda...

I think it does. Hell, for how cheap they are pick one up and find out. Just see if it goes in the housing. I think you have to reverse the direction. It's easy to do.

Second set of wheels, powder coated hubs, anodised rims, zinc plated spokes

We're prepping to go to Albania in June. My friend is racing the Rally Albania on his 950 Adv and I'm going as support vehicle driver, mechanic...and whatever is needed.... My bike is also coming and I'll try to ride it everyday possible.

See link for the rally here:

RALLY ALBANIA 2016

Nice. Goin hellas in a month myself. Your friend should have put some more gold, and gotten The ico rally max G.
Its awesome and dont cost much extra for what you get.
Self calibrates from gps. Has bearings if hej would ever do a desert rally.
But however, hope you enjoy it!
Thanx for The pictures. Pls add more of the rally.

I advertised my Berg for sale and I have an offer of 3400€. I think I'll go for it....
What do you think?

That would be a decent price over here. Better for the buyer than the seller IMO :) But that would be a good market price. Would hate to see you go! But from the gnarly, gnarly stuff you're riding it does look like you would be served by something different! Conversely, over here in the open spaces I looove the rally-like classic 'Bergs.

Surely you have another bike in mind? :) Or just a big '90s Volvo Station to keep your family safe? :)

A very decent price over here too....

I would buy a Husaberg again, but this time a never two stroke maybe....we'll se...

Volvo? No. Subaru....

So....I sold my Berg....

I'm a bit sad, as always when I sell a bike....but it went for good money and I can't complain. Gave me everything; disappointment, big financial burden, a LOT of valuable mechanical knowledge in the repair process (also thanks to all of you here, but I must point out Bushie as the one that gave me many, many good advice and information - thanks again Bushie!!), it gave me a huge satisfaction after I managed to repair it myself and in the end it gave me a lot of quality riding time.

Good bikes those Bergs, shame what KTM did.

Would I buy a Berg again.....yes, I'd love to have a 390 70 deg model. I believe the 70 deg models will always be valued on the market, and if they survive long enough.....who knows....maybe become a valued milestone in the history of dirt bikes...

Pre 2009? Good bikes, in their time they have been a real men's machines but I somehow feel time has stepped over them... Value? Not sure. Maybe some models...late 550 and 650....

Anyways....I'm not leaving this forum, I like it. I'll try to contribute to new members with the knowledge I acquired here...

Regards

Just saying hy from tirana, albania.
What a ************* tough race rally albania is....we re around fiftieth place in scratch, out of more than 100 competitors and second in m4 - above 700cc bycilindric. Had falls, broken gear, fuel pump had us on the brink of shooting ourselves and burning the bike. Marathon was very tough, yesterday 450km stage...exhausted....

Today is the last day...

Will post pics and vids when i get home..

******* hard as hell.

This has been offered to me....a 2000/2001 Dakar starter. Rider nr. 118 fell on stage 5 and broke his collar bone so the bike has only around 3500-4000 km's on it. All scrutineering marks on the bike. It comes with a spare front fairing, front mud guard, tank, seat, all navigation instruments, a spare set of wheels, spare exhaust pipes and two boxes of parts (levers, filters, clutch plates and a whole bunch more....), freshly serviced and registered. It's been sitting in a garage for 15 years until recently....

What do you think? I'm tempted....

Went mainstream.
Disgusting, I know..

2014 exc 250 with...wait for it.... 12.7 hours on it.

Actually liking the bike very much...the tougher it gets, bike is better...incredible how these two strokes find grip in the gnarliest conditions...
