Cylinder liner

Hi!
Thanks for answering my earlier question!Now I have a new one!
Are there any tricks for dismantling the cylinder liner?Or do I just losen the four bolts and pull it up.
Is it possible to mantle a thermostat wich is on the 05-models ,on my 400 -03?

I have heard that you can pull the liner without splitting the cases. i have never been able to do it myself.
As far as the thermostat, I was looking at one yesterday. It looks like it could be done. I think all you would need is the 3 hoses and the thermostat.
