Correct chain for 2003 FS650

Hi, i just got my bike back from berg dealer who'd put new chain on it. However when I'd got home and had a proper look I noticed the chain still vv slack and it seems to already be at full adjustment - ie fully back in swingarm beyond where the notch is just equal to the furthest back notch on swingarm. I'm new to the bike but I assume the two notches on swing arm are meant to indicate the min/max positions for the chain tensioning adjuster. My query is have they put on the wrong size of chain - I took for granted the dealer would know the correct chain. How may links should the chain have as I couldn't find in the manual - infact spec summary table says DID 520 o-ring, but under the wheels section, it says it x-ring?!

Cheers

On the new Bergs you can flip over the spacer on each side, it may be as simple as that, ie the bit that the adjuster bolt bears on. Length also depends on the sprockets, ie gearing, that you have. I like the axle as far back as i can get it to get more weight on the front for improved steering, but thats me.
