Which do you think will be the best drink in Moab? The first or the last? One to celebrate arriving or one celebrating new friendships and a lifetime of memories? My only regret is not brining my son. His riding ability just will not cut it.. It would be a great time for him though...

I have paid, confirmed via PM, given all necessary info, but don't see my name on the official list. I will be there, although I don't know if I'm in the 63 you say are confirmed.

John,
Sorry for the delay... I finally got your name, and a few others, onto the Attendance List. Everything is set and you are definately in the mix....

Bobzilla... forget the dutch ovens, we are going to need 55 gallon drums! There are 77 names on the list!!

for the benefit of the 77 going is it likely that you would call a halt soon?

we only had 24 last time and it was close, it was personal and except for one iriot it went well. the left hand met the right!

superb effort by all those involved.

a closing date?

Was that the failed attempt at cliff jumping? What are you referring too? As one of the Late comers, I am glad that I am able to attend. Many folks might need to wait until financial ends have been tied up. Or like in my case New Berg Owners. It would be kinda neat to have a group large enough to have some Media coverage. What would this do for the Huasberg family as a whole. I do however understand your words. This will not be the intimate reunion that some have hoped for, for this I am sorry. There might just be new friends to be met. More advanced riders and more riders like myself that do not ride as fast as Rick or John. You will all meet John. Hell, some might already. It would be cool if the whole campground was filled with Bergs and MORE Bergs!! Who would b!tch about the noise then?

jwilly,

I have sent e-mails to both Cycle News and Dirt Rider informing them of our event. No response from either.

It may help if more of you do the same. It's a rare sight to see two Husabergs at one location, let alone the 50 plus we should have.

Mike

Just think about the awesome sound of all 70+ bergs firing up and once... does anybody have recording equipment. talk about a sound file...!

it's all very, very simple. if we look after each other, aren't self serving, have a great time, work at making it fun then it doesn't matter which magazine is there or who.

clans and cliques are to be hopefully avoided. it's absurd to say that people can't afford $35. if they can't afford that then tell 'em to phuq off! they're no good now and they'll be even less good when they arrive!

leeches!

it's extremely unlikely that more than 10 bergs will ever start at once. what with 50% going out to the trails by truck and the fact that we're in groups of max 10 tells me that it won't be too bad. i see it as a noise isssue rather than the glorious sound....

being too big isn't the issue. but being fun is the BIGGEST issue bar none!

to people like ossaman and others that are in the trade, 77 sounds good perhaps but i'm not in the trade. 77 sounds like we're gearinmg up for someone's cash cow, if not this time then the next time!

let's all hope that doesn't happen!

When I see 77 riders I see a group of people that want to ride and have a good time. I also am not in the trade but I don't feel like I am being looked at for cash. WEIRD.. I don't know about the rest of the crew here but I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I do know the value of $35. Your comment about folks living on a budget are not good for anything is the absurd thing. By the mere insinuation your already setting up a Clan or click. I do hope your statement was meant to be a joke.

Taffy is right on one point, you'll never get 70 bikes to fire at the same time, regardless of make, personally I am looking forward to the sound of seventy Berg riders around ONE campfire!

Hell, I'll send you $40.00 and I'm not even coming.

DezDuster sent you a PM and Paypal.

Remember that pallets have approx 80 nails or so I read.

Hope you all have a great time. Wish I was coming.

 Well you can tell that I spend a lot of time building large fires in OHV areas.... I did not really think about the nail issue... that would make A LOT of people very unhappy...

jwilly

no i wasn't joking. you struggle to put down $35 - then don't go.

i also said "..... next time".

anyway, i look forward to meeting you and bench racing.

Taffy my friend,

You mention "the trade". What trade? Motorcycle industry? No, I work for AT&T and have worked for the phone company for over 24 years. I'm doing what I'm doing for Moab because I had such a good time at our first event. Plus I would like this event to be memorable for our first time attendees.

There will never be anything like the first one. It was awesome, but maybe, this one can be a little better. It should be, with Moto2 bringing the Snowbikes, MotoXotica, BOSS, the Canadian and European members, just to mention a few, attending this event.

Now I take offense to the "cash cow" statement. None of us volunteers are making any money from this event and never intended to. Plane tickets, food and t-shirts aren't free. Donations are to cover expenses and anything over and above will be donated to the site for operating expenses.

Now isn't it going to be an awesome sight to see so many Husabergs in one place? We can go to any riding area and see the sea of red, green, blue, orange or yellow bikes. Now 70 plus Husabergs, that will be a Kodak moment.

I say enjoy it for what it is.

I look forward to meeting everyone there and seeing all of the hard work put in by Dezduster, Bobzilla, Berger and myself, play out.

hi mike

i apologise for singling you or anyone for that matter out. it's 6pm here and it's been bugging me all day. i thought you were a mechanic for motoexotica for some reason. even if you had been it wasn't right to single anyone out least an organiser. tit-o-the-week-sirloin-steak.

i don't mean the organisers are on it. never said it or insinuated it (well i didn't think so...) i also talked about the next time...

i think you know where i stand on this. it should be about members of UHE and owner riders/users etc. hope it stays like that.

mike this time will be great. we know each other quite well and there's always something to talk about...huseys!

so let the good times roll....

If I may translate english to merican:

to people like ossaman and others that are in the trade, 77 sounds good perhaps but i'm not in the trade. 77 sounds like we're gearinmg up for someone's cash cow, if not this time then the next time!

I dont really care if the magizines, dealers or distributer make any money out of Moab Force Ride, It is about the riders from this site having a good time and getting to know each other in person.

Now I may be full of shineola but thats what I think he ment

77 is a lot and more than anyone thought in the begining of the planning of this event. I know it will be a bit different but we will not know if it is better or worse than the last one until after... so lets all just go into this with a open mind and a smile on our face. I can say that there is more planning going into this one at least that I know of hopefully it will be smooth enough and if not..................... skip the next :p

And I will also say that NO ONE is getting ahead with the donations!!!!!!!!! I will not be a part of anything like that! What moneys are , if any , left over expenses will go to the site that we all count on.. You have Dez's, Berger's , Ossaman's and MY word on that.

but I need mo benjys fo da peppas

RE: usin da dictanary

I don't think I will be able to make it. Nothing to do with the bike, but myself. I woke up an old rugby injury and it will take me at least 3 to 4 weeks before I can even hit the gym again, so ride a dirt bike, I don't know.
