Got home after dark and and no speedometer backlights, what to check for?
1 speedometer plug was not connected red/brown/black wires, got it fixed, other end of wiring was taped up under gas tank. Local KTM dealer said to check there.
BOSS was no help! Told me nothing plugs in there and to mount a LED lamp to shine on the speedometer?!?
I guess BOSS never dual sported one.
A little web searching and all 3 connectors are used, 1 for wheel sensor, 1 for power/ground and light, 1 for handlebar thumb control.
