Bike stops and backfire

Hi guys. I'm kinda desperat. Today my bike died when i stopped at the gas station ( i full fueltank.) When i tried start it did backfire and was hard to start. I put the bike in 1st gear and rolled it back and forth, and after a while running the starter it finally startet. Later i got simular problems. Riding low speed, bike stops, backfires while running the starter.

Is this a fuelpump problem? :bounce:

putting your bike in your signature would prevent me from asking the question"what bike do you have?" also would help get more accurate info and things to check......

even the old pre2000 carb bergs had fuel pumps....

Edit: Oh yea and don't post the same question twice back-2-back either :bounce3:

they have suffered from 'one-off' problems in the past.

a broken battery internally
fuel injector
I had a starter relay pack up (wiggle it as you push the button)

and when you find out what it was, let us know your "experience"?
