does anyone know of a list of common parts between late model bergs and ktms. husaberg parts seem to take forever to arrive, ktm might be quicker?! I bought a new 06 fe450 and after opening up the exhaust (ktm 250f sx muffler core and tip) and making the carby a bit stronger of the bottom (boyseen powershot) am absolutely loving it! 50 hrs up now with no dramas.

you might consider supporting your Husaberg dealer so he can better serve you.DAN

Agreed.....I have had nothing but excellent service from Motoxotica, Bike Barn....I get my parts in around 2 days....how much faster do you need it?

Husaberg parts will not be slower to deliver. On the contrary.

For Berg parts, I always go with Dan, other times with Boss, it depends on who has the part. They are the closest geographically. I also visit my local reseller once in a while and if they had as nice an inventory as Dan and Boss, I'd use them more often. Support the Husaberg dealers!

For KTM, I always go with Munn due to his link on ktmtalk.com and the 15% rebate.

Both Dan and Munn have a great inventory, but Munn has no clue when it comes to Husaberg and he will say so himself.

There are a few common parts, mostly suspension, and generally the whole front (if you did not notice, of course the front fender), plus the carb, and some surprising common internal engine parts (like the autodecomp weight), but otherwise 90% of the Husaberg parts are specific.

Guys,
I think he's probably in Oz judging from his name and dialect (carby).

We're lucky to have many good USA dealers who stock parts. Maybe he's not so lucky.

Outback Queensland would mean a long way away from a Berg dealer.

Last count there was only 2 dealers in the entire state, and it's not a small place.

I suggest either Orange KTM/Husaberg (ORANGEBERG) or Futuresport in Townsville.
