have a customers bike here right now, an '02 and someone has stuck the battery up under the seat out the way. aesthetically it looks better IMHO but what made me smile was the way that it got put there.
that central bolt that ALL husabergs have? the one in the middle of the bike? well he simply used that on the central frame bar under the seat that's used to hold up the inner mudflap! the large HT cables are stiff and seem to aid stability because he tie wrapped the cables to the frame. it's an SM (obviously) otherwise i'd give that single bracket 10 minutes!
