I'm installing a '00 FX600E into the hole left by a blown '97 FE501E - using the stock Dellorto PHM 40. This is my first 'berg and first Dellorto.....

Can anybody offer a baseline jetting set-up for sea level to 4000ft elevation?

Thanks,
Brian

RE: Baseline jetting for

it's in the doc fella. we have the best jetting there. why not get in contact with joeusa to gain confidence in doing the work. as a word of caution though i would hold fire and get the bike started and running first. a run should show that your perssent jetting is fine i suspect but having proved that you can get a fresh engine running well i would then attack it.

don't forget that if you touch the carb and get so much as a sneeze, a cough, a splutter or a hick up: you are not going to know what's the culprit if you've touched the carb.

i hope this helps but do remember that the std 501 jetting will do you.

regards

Taffy
