That funny little race track at the bottom of the
Strikes me, looking at the gallery, and the general tone of discussions that there are not many teenagers riding Bergs. The owners I have met down here in Gods-own seem to be of mid-mature years. what about at the other ends of the earth?
Personally, I am mid 40's going on 13 with 35 years riding.
There was a mad Dutchman (with a wicked sense of humor!) lurking around here somewhere who bought a 390? (mid-late 90's I think) to learn to ride on but otherwise the other owners I have met have all been experienced riders.
Henny was no spring chicken, just new to bikes.
Any input anyone?

58 and I just got my first berg - an 'o4. Have been riding off & on for 40+ years.

Hey Bro,
I started riding Bergs in 98'. I was a young pup of 34 years at the time, but far from my teen years.

Started riding off road at 9, first road bike at 16, FS1E of course, had my 1st Berg at 38 and am now 40. Won't list them all but owned 28 bikes in 31 years of riding from 50cc to 1200cc, the berg is up there as one of the most fun bikes I've owned.

Started riding at 10 stopped at 27 Started back up at 44 got my Berrg at 46 Will be 48 next week

36 here, started riding at 14 and got my first berg 2 months ago. wanted one for a long time and it finally came together. it's everything i expected and then some!!

I am 30, got my Berg 1 month ago, I got my KTM when I was 27 and I am riding bikes since I was 15

Ok I'll chime in even though a Berg lady isn't supposed to tell her age

I got my first Berg this last winter and I'm 51 yrs. old. I've been riding street bike since I was 20 and bought a Suzuki T500 when girls didn't ride at all. Riding dirt is new to me but I absolutely love getting dirty! :D :D

I am going to take a wild guess and say the age average is 45-46 years old. Of course if you remove Ned from the average it drops down into the 30's :D

So, OK....I'll be 50 in July.

hello, my name is ned and i'm a bergoholic. i am 17 years old and started riding bergs 12 years ago. :blowkiss:

I'm 31. I have had my berg for six year now.
started riding 14 years old on a Suzuki TS 50 xkj with 70 cc kit and absolutely no power. when i turned 18 i bought a 89 CR500R (was very power hungry) had that until i bought the berg in 2004.

I'm thirty, my mate Robbo is 31. I'm into my second berg in 10 months and the guy I got the first one off was 27 at the time. Been dabbling since I was 10 got serious in 99 when I got a Yami WR 500.

My name is Eric. "E" "R" "I" "C" I too am a Bergaoholic, but in denial.......... mostly about my age... just turned 50.

Saw my first ever Husaberg in May 08 while having a beer at Wallerwang Pub Beer Garden and remember saying to my mate, "What the phuck is that thing". He said, "A Husaberg". I said, "What the phuck is a Husawhat?"
He was a big fella on an old Berg 6fidee with a safari tank, really looked the part.
Turns out a guy I new through water skiing had a Husaberg 650 and we invited him along for a ride one day. I had the pleasure of listening to that thing past me full noise sideways at guessing about 120Kmh and I was sold.
Google sniffed out this site for me and a coupla years later I am on a Berger with the lot at age 47. Haven’t had the chance to line up against the 6fiddee as it has developed a few probs, but I am looking forward to chasing him on the 570. Actually thinking of buying it but I think the wife might kill me.

Classic Ned, I saw a photo of you and Taffy at the force ride :D

Been riding since I was 17, but almost exclusively road bikes, with some road racing thrown in in the 70s. Started living in the bush in 1990 and used the wife's DT175 to do some exploring with a few locals. Went through a IT250 and IT490 and got the FE501 in 1998. Got a race bike, so went racing, entering my first dirt bike race at 44 yo. Done some MX and enduro since. Now 56 and I think I'm starting to slow down.
