Aprilia SVX 550 vs Husaberg FS650e vs KTM 660 SMC

the aprillia would be good to own until it was time to rebuild , probably cost 2 arms and three legs . :eeeeek:

did you know that the motor of the aprilia needs to be dropped out of the frame just to inspect the valve clearance !!!
 
I ran a guy @ the gap on a 550 ape that he raced & honest to god it was my first time on my 07 fs 650e & he never got more that 30' ahead of me & it was very apparent that I had the braking & torque advantage .We stopped @ the store and talked abit Im not sure he believed me that it was my first ride on the bike but I knew & I am very happy to have bought the berg . Side buy side the 550 looked really cheap

The article is from a swedish mag called "Bike". It is also available in Norway/Denmark/Finland.
 
The Aprilia is on the far left, the Husaberg is in the middle, and the KTM is on the far right.

Sorry if Smegma brings bad memories. I've used it as every password or sign in name since Windows 95.
I'm on an FS 650e 05 model. It is a revelation in tight corners compared to my old Yam FJR 1300. What it lacks in top end, it makes up for mid corner. I love being back on a light bike; they make so much sense. A dealer said he never touches the 650 motors before 20000 kms. Does that sound realistic?
