Bit of an update for everyone,
The carbon Akra can has been installed on my 2012 FE390. Easy bolt up, i did do a 5 minute burn in too let the wool warm up in the silencer.
Took it for a test ride down the street and Wow! The bikes power is now amazing, not that it wasn't before but the pipe really top's it off, it rev's faster and i could defiantly feel a difference in power increase over standard not to mention the weight saving. It gives the bike more poke of the start that's for sure.
As far as mapping and thing's i was concerned about, the bike run's 100% no coughing, spluttering or rough idle. It's on the standard factory mapping, when i changed the map switch to the faster mapping it just seemed to rev faster.
I was surprised when i started the bike up with the open style insert that it wasn't much louder then factory. I have had a fiddle with the inserts, with no insert it sounds awesome! Nice and loud
Although i have not tested it on the road without the insert.
Will update again when i have taken the bike out into the forest with and without the DB killer and let you know how i go performance wise.
