Brilliant!! Brett, I gotta say I am impressed. Team BMG just keeps getting better.
Are these going to be downloadable from the huaberg.com website?

Re: 2006 Husaberg Question:

What hidden treasure awaits inside the 2006 engine? 8O

From the official borchure:

Engine model range with revolutionary details in construction and extremely compact design. For the model year 2006 optimized in terms of wear resistance and stability even under extreme conditions. All models equipped with electrical starter.

Compact and light construction with an extremly low center of gravity - Total width is under 260mm. High-performance camshaft - A strengthened valve cover allows very high RPMs. - "There's a water pump under de clutch plate - The camshaft drives the water pump under the clutch plate - The camshaft drives the water pump, thereby doubling the coolant flow speed and optimizing radiator performance".

Lubrication system with a trochoid oil pump - A three-stage filter system (magnet, screen an oil filter) without any exterior lines eliminates the possibility of damage. The oil reservoir can be checked through a window - Easy access to the clutch through a divided magnesium clutch plate - Kokusan ignition system - The gear shift is constructed of forged aluminium.

Remember , always read the fine print. :D LOL

I want to know how they fit the camshaft behind the clutch.

Dale

missed that. so that was your point? simple explanation it's either a typo or a drafting error. :)

The errors are no doubt due to language translation,If you substitute the word plate for cover and camshaft for crankshaft it makes sense...I think :D

What, no sense of humour?

Since we are picking the catalogue apart.... The new specs on the 450 and 650 SM's show a 4.25 rear rim with a 150 tire....Is that possible or is a typo........?

Very nice.
It's good to see that they have been listening and reacting to some of our concerns. Availability of accessories, a slimming of the bike and a good attempt at increasing durability. I also approve of the cosmetics.

Oh...and I do appreciate your humor Dale

I like the:

For extreme situations, an extra air filter frome FORCE DEPOT accessories can be attached.

And it shows an electic add on radiator fan. Is this a swedish supercharger???

The FSc shows the 5", so I doubt it. Its probably to ease install for the street FSe guys.

P.S. The graphics in the Force Catalog are kinda cool, but do they include the pictured fork decals on the bike too???

spot on. under the picture of the crank, they also call it a camshaft.

i think we would all be in shock if a catalogue came out with NO errors???!!

Have Fun
Jeff

And i take it that FC models are absent this year????selling 2005 leftovers only???

Have Fun

Brett,
Do you happen to know if the slipper clutch is adaptable to the 01/02's, or would we have to upgrade to the newer clutch basket, drive gears, and mainshaft(bolt-on hub style)?

thanks.
