The errors are no doubt due to language translation,If you substitute the word plate for cover and camshaft for crankshaft it makes sense...I think :D

spot on. under the picture of the crank, they also call it a camshaft.

i think we would all be in shock if a catalogue came out with NO errors???!!

Have Fun
Jeff

Pheeeeew. That is a relief. The crankshaft twisting thing really threw me off.

Or was it camshaft. :?

Brett,
Do you happen to know if the slipper clutch is adaptable to the 01/02's, or would we have to upgrade to the newer clutch basket, drive gears, and mainshaft(bolt-on hub style)?

thanks.

I'm Director of Marketing.

Cheers,

Brett

p.s. Not the guy to ask :)

True and funny!
 LOL

Some A's to some Q's earlier on in the thread.

The street legal FS models will have a 4.25" rear rim due to that ze'Germans don't want tire rub on their mufflers. It's cheaper to mount a smaller rear rim than to make a new exhaust and probably plastics to fit it. Some sort of twisted customer request if you ask me. But I get the logic in it.
The FS450c is gone due to low sales but the FS650c is still available due to that it seems to be what you guys over there seem to prefer. I have seen only ONE FSc model this year here in sweden. We all buy the street legal kind to be able to sell them after the racing season.

There won't be any "real" 2006 FCs due to development was focused on FE and FS this year so no effort was made towards the MX bikes. But what has actually improved? Are the R&D guys so busy tinkering with goodies for us 'til 2007 they haven't had the time to improve the FE's & FS's. I sure as hell hope so...
If you buy a 2006 FC you will get a 2005 model but with the 2006 plastic sent along (at least in sweden as far as I've heard, but don't quote me on that!)

Never hurts to ask, you never know what someone has picked up through osmosis.

I'll sell motorcycles all day long, but when it comes to working on them, that's better left to the experts :)

Well Brett,
When it comes to tuning / developing motorcycles I will do so all day long. However, with regard to marketing, such has also proven to be better left to the experts.

Great job so far!

Dale

You guys warm my heart. :p

FC models are not in production for 2006. However, 5 of each of the 05's are is stock and we will specail order as need be, and ship with 06 plastics if requested. Blue frame instead of black.

06 reaction and orders have been strong, encouraging.

Jocke_D,
Does HEA MC still exist just outside of Orebro?
"HEA MC" :?:

What is left here is the scandinavian marketing office, or what it should be called. Development is still here also (Roland is still working his butt off :D ) and Thomas G has his office right nest to David L's. Don't know if that was the answer you were looking for but I hope so.

HBG shares office building with KTM scandinavia by the way. I could try to take some pics of it when I'm drive by it which is a couple of times every week. It's just a boring mainly white building but it has a nice sign outside :D

Hi Jocke-D,
HEA MC was a privately owned little "hobbyist" skunk works shop near the factory. The owner was big into vintage racing and had slipped many a modern engine component between antique cases. Roland and the owner were friends and we once stopped by for a visit. His little shop was hard to miss as directly in front was a Husaberg mounted on a pole high in the air.

Most likely such a shop has long since disappeared. Roland would remember. :)

Thank you for the Highland pictures and please, hello to my friends @ Husaberg Sweden.

Sincerely,
Dale
