Recently looped out and broke the shift lever in half so after googling and searching i cant really find anything that definitly fits.

Anyone tried KTM or the '09+ models shift lever on older models?

I need one for my 08 450

yes 100140 on the web shop. the original steel is still good because the alloy aftermarket one bends in on a fall andd then proceeds to scrape the left case cover. the original steel lever - even though only 3mm away always returns to 3mm away.

the 09 would be a disaster on the Husaberg even if it did fit the splines because it would come out level with the OUTSIDE of your footrest, there is s-o-o-o much offset to it.

BTW, anyone reading this with a 2009-2012; I sell gear levers that are set in 10-12mm over original and out of the way. when i had a 570 the original "offset" was awful and nearly, it seemed to me, in the middle of the footrest...

cheers
