A ride In the East

WB,

When BP & I met Parsko in Allegheny he had more tools with him than some of my field service techs carry here at CAT. Not to mention the Xtra water pump, distributor, etc... for the Trooper. I believe if it ends up making the trip it will be well stocked with whatever he may need. You know those goofy engineers. :?

Rob

PS - I spelled "Trooper" backwards on the last post because Parsko has it sdrawkcab on the hood.

I am hoping to avoid driving it. It's 700 miles for me, and I dont' want to have to pulled the wheels off again...

I will if I have to. If I absolutely have to. Last option.

Say, is anyone else getting a pop-up from the weatherunderground webpage I used?

Should I delete it?

Yes I get a popup anytime I`am on this line of posts. Deleteing it is up to you. The truck I`am driving is the only option but if you are well stocked with parts, tools, etc. you might have to. There is some time yet something might popup. Make sure you carry a BMFH they come in handy as well. Good luck.

No pop-ups here so far .

Luke, what about renting a pick-up from one of the rental car companies, if finances permit of course ?

Okay, problem solved. Buddy is letting me borrow his caravan. Has a hitch. Another buddy is letting me borrow his trailer.

Crap, this is a pain in the ***. When I get back from Europe, the first vehicle I am buying will hold my dirtbike, and be capable of driving to alaska without concern.

PS- I will delete the webpage right now! But, regardless, looks like good weather!!!!!!

PPS- Schwim must have fixed it. Thanks buddy!!!! Sorry to give you extra work!!!

PARSKO tis true,
Old proverb(from the fifties)
" a man without a truck is like a man without a _ _ _ _ .

Giddy Up

Seems like everything is coming together. My gear is in Jedhi's hands to be loaded in the Berg Freight train that will be heading south tomorrow. I'm flying to Toronto in the morning for my job and then to Charleston on Thursday. Berger will pick up my Canuck carcus at the airport and we will meet the tribe at the Super 8. My right wrist is starting to twitch and twist without warning. Can't wait...1 more sleep

Hey NS man

we can make room :)

NS Man...get on that bus if you can. It would be good to ride with you

Cheers

JEDI,
Thanks for the offer, but I am still very busy at the shop and can't take any time off just yet......nsman

Coffin,
Yesterday I was tempted to try something like..."Luke, I am your father" (in a heavy breathing / raspy voice) , reference Parsko.
I figure after I whoop his but riding this weekend I'll just say "who's your daddy now ""

Ahhh...the trash talking is starting, the bench racing will be faster than the riding, I'm getting excited just typing !!!

4:15 am and I'm just heading to the airport to try and fly to Toronto. Could be a problem after the Air France crash last night  I don't like to fly on the best of days...is it too early for a stiff drink :x

Just consider it a mountain hell ride, torture to endure but rewarding once you've realized that you have survived itway better than expected.

Luke,
I'm gonna give you a call sometime today (Wed. August 3rd). Give me a call to remind me to call you !
I've got an idea , need to talk to you before you leave Thurs.

I talked with Cody from Chicken Coop Husaberg here in Ohio today.
He thought the "Ride in the East" was way east coast until I sent him an email (thanks Coffin !)
He said he's gonna make some calls to a couple riding buddys and let me know if he will be coming or not.
He said something about bringing a camper.

Stay tuned !

Well..I'm back home...flight was cancelled. :( Looks like I will be able to get to Toronto by the end of the day though. Hopefully things will be cleared up before I fly to Philly and Charleston tomorrow.

Figured I get the bad luck out of my system before I hit West Virgina

Is it just me or has anybody else been humming "West Virgina...Mountain Mama...Take me home...Country road" Can't get it out of my head

Cody...if your reading this thread...get yer *** down to this ride if you can. Make sure you bring some air freshner if you drag "Stinky" with you
