stator

I have a 2001 fx-650. I am removing stator to have it rewound but dont know how to remove stator from sidecover. I removed bolts figured it would come out without too much effort. Any advice appreciated.

ok i am thoroughly confused, what do i do with the small yellow wire and witch yellow wire from the new stator gets connected? their instructions.....well....suck! please help...........
